MEMORIES

there is always a meaningful memory which is meaningless for other people,
just like this photo...
no matter how many times i stare on it,
it will still lead me to a day dreaming session...
was it a part of my childhood scene...
is quite interesting to know it personally...
but so far the clue didn't managed to find me...
i hope this photo will bring you the same thought as mine as well...

and sorry for the temporarily lacking of updates,
my monitor just showed how angry he is,
his head was burning and smoky when i last saw him...
so i need to waiting for a new and cheap monitor now...
and hope that everyone don't just passes by..
leave some advice or comment so that i can improve my skills...
thanks...
and good night...

FIRE UP THE CEREMONY

this photo was took from my hometown at Pahang's Termeloh.
i guess this is the only photo that caught the ceremony feelings and atmosphere.

forget what is the cultural name of this ceremony...
this is a ceremony which being celebrated every first day of the chinese new year(it started when reaches 12am)
it will be a lot of burning incenses for praying...
everyone pray so that they can live peacefully for the brand new year...
wish their sons get better exam result...
wish their parents far away from diseases and illness...

in this photo...
shows people lighting up the incenses,
this incenses can be burn up to a day, is not kidding...
according to some of the humors that i heard while snapping,
they believed that if the incense can't fully burned,
it will bring them disaster for the rest of the year...
but i'm not believe in that,
because......
....
....
i saw them using solvent to helps the fire carry on...lolx

sorry for the quality of the photo,
i know is a bit out of focus,
some professional photographer already told me that(a bit boring)
because i'm a manual photographer,
which means i'm just purely using manual focusing lens for everything i'm shooting,
unless i go travel and i really need some clear picture,
then i will just use my kit lens...hehe
what i wanna express with this photo is the spirit and the atmosphere of this ceremony
a bit out of focus is really nothing to me....
i believe in a bit imperfect shows something perfect!

after that, i have to suffer for eye itchiness and swollen at the next day because of the freaking crazy smoke...

INDUSTAR 50MM F3.5 M39 WITH CANON EOS

This Russian lens gives a superb image quality in 30++ years ago, and it is still a good lens now.
The portrait at the top is taken by this pancake-looked prime lens. It has only 3 elements and easy to be dismantled by anyone. Although some photos had been taken in bright-lightning situation were a bit hazy and foggy because of the lens elements are too old, but a little bit of hazy gives a different feelings and meanings for the photos. One thing that i'm not satisfy is the aperture value is a little bit too high for a prime lens, but compare with the lens size, it is considered well done as the lens is made for M39 camera. Overall, i give it 4.3 out of 5 because of the age and image quality.

C&C are greatly welcome from everyone:-)

p/s: thanks for my darling who willing to post for this lens testing session, too bad i didn't use any lightning instrument for that...hope that you will love it.

REVIEW OF 'Cosina 100-300mm f5.6-6.7 MC MACRO'

This is the lens that i bought recently, it is used but the performance is ok compared to the price.

Below are some of the sample and lens performace test photos, NOTE that the image contrast and +1 unsharp mask had been applied due to the weak camera body Canon 350d:
Bird shooting

after crop

f5.6

f8

f10

f32

100mm

300mm

Overall: The lens produce natural contrast and color quality, so for those who don't like natural color, please don't use it. This lens is good in day time shooting due to the smaller aperture, the white balance will be more accurate than shooting at the night time. The motor is as noisy as Sigma motor but i seldom use it unless i'm shooting above 150mm because is difficult to manual focus after that due to the gap between zooming ring and focusing ring, at least 4 to 5 inches i think...but the autofocus function is quite acceptable although it is still quite disappointed in the low light condition, unless you are shooting with your tripod.

i give this lens 3.5 out of 5, the main selling point is cheaper price with acceptable quality.

REVIEW OF SINGAPORE

finally got time to blog about my story...
actually is just my review of Singapore...
Singapore is a nice place...(if talking about enjoying, not about work, i know is very stressed to work there)
compare with M'sia,
they are...
MUCH cleaner!
MUCH safer!
MUCH more convenient!
MUCH more open-minded!
MUCH better fashion sense!
MUCH more comfortable!
but there are something S'pore can't fight,
MUCH cheaper stuff,
MUCH nicer food,
MUCH more variety of food...etc
and...
MUCH emo and shitty 'BOSS'!
MUCH more raping case!
MUCH more robbing case!
MUCH more fighting case!
MUCH more car accidents!
MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more stupid buggers!

WAIT!!!!wait wait wait!!!
back to the topic...sorry for out of topic...hehe...
ok...let's talk about how we went to S'pore,
it was the worst experience ever!
i sat in this....
it was very very uncomfortable!
leather seat plus high temp air cond...
definitely make your ass sweat like hell!
i couldn't sleep well in the bus because of the seat...
it took me an hour to cool myself down a little bit...
and the food that they served is quite tasteless(this one is rely on our fortune, my gf's relatives get Subway sandwiches as their lunch)

When we reached to S'pore,
we straight away went into the MRT station,
you can see there are two obvious kinds of S'porian,
one is lala(honestly their lala is more lala than our lala)
another one is office boys and girls,
their fashion sense is bravo!
you can see branded stuff from their head until the end of their leg!
THEN we suddenly saw something funny...
we saw a slightly meaty women wearing an imbalance high heel, walking in the MRT station, when she is walking, you can see the heel is bending and her leg is going to twist like that...
why must they wear shoes with tiny heel?

at the second day, we went to have Subway since that we were told that we will get our Subway in the stupid bus but it wasn't.
you know how must is it?
is nearly 2 times of the M'sia Subway's price!
but i was quite desperate to get it, and it was quite fresh...so is worth it!
i think this is my highest spent in S'pore...(no choice, i'm a poor ass)

after that, we went to the S'pore art museum(sorry for my typo in previous post, if your eye is sharp enough, you definitely can see it) and taking photo with mr. coolies...
we were like uncivilized human and felt shameless to post and get shot by the camera, it was amazingly attracted a lot of people to stop walking and staring at us, luckily we are temporarily staying in S'pore...hehe

then... i got no more photo to tell because i got no time to take photo... hopefully i can go there with my darling again... sigh...

p/s: wish everyone who reading my blog now happy new year! especially my darling :-*
